Analysis of scientific evidence on the effectiveness of immunomodulation in cancer: a systematic review

Objective: To analyze the scientific evidence from studies on effectiveness of immunomodulation in cancer. Methodology: This is a systematic review that searched for respective databases such as Pubmed, Scopus, Cinahl, Web Science, and The Cochrane Data Base, using descriptors English, selected Medical Subject Headings- MeSH. Soon after cataloging, were analyzed through Consolidated Standards Reporting Trials-CONSORT, Strengthening Observational Studies Epidemiology (STROBE), study sample consisted nine articles. Results: Analysis reveals immunomodulators have an average efficacy rate 56% some neoplasms.
